NEBOSH National Diploma in Environmental Management

(in association with Safety Solutions, U.K. - Accredited Centre 240)

This programme is designed for individuals with responsibilities for the management of environmental risk in relation to the damage caused by occupational and environmental hazards from work activities which are in many cases closely linked, often springing from the same basic cause. It will be invaluable for those aiming to develop and implement effective environmental management systems within their organisations, or practitioners who are tasked to advise management on the control of environmental risks.

    • Hazardous substances
    • Environmental implications of development and land use
    • Energy use and efficiency
       
  • Application of environmental risk theory and practice (Unit ED 2)

This is a workplace-based project. Assessment is done via completion of an environmental audit Performa and a written report of approximately 4,000 words.

 

Learning Methodology

Participants will learn through a unique blend of role-plays, and video presentations, as well as group exercises.

Who Should Attend

Facilities Managers, OHS Managers, Environmental Control Officers, Risk Managers, Production and Operations Managers; personnel working in industries that may cause environmental aspects and impacts, such as Chemical and Petrochemical Industries, Construction, Wafer fabs, and Logistics.

ASSESSMENT
The assessment consists of ONE WRITTEN EXAMINATION and a WORKPLACE-BASED PROJECT.

Examination

The examination is conducted twice a year on the first week of June and December.

Full-time

Duration      : 10 days (2 Blocks of 5 days each month over 2 months)
Time             : 9am - 5pm
Course Fee : $4,494.00 (Incl. 7% GST)

Part-time

Duration      : Over 3 to 4 months (1 to 2 evenings per week)
Time             : 7pm – 10pm
