International Student Association

With the growing number of international students at PSB Academy many of them have taken the initiatives to form their respective international student bodies. Their main objective is to reach out and cater to the needs of their nationalities who are students of PSB Academy, so as to make their stay in Singapore more rewarding.

The formation of student associations are fully supported by the school. Below are the list of such associations, each with it's own executive committee. You are welcome to check out their websites to find out more.

1) Chinese Student Association (CSA)

Date of formation: 22 March 2009
Mission: Communication: to provide a platform for Chinese students to make friends around the world. Learning: to provide opportunities for Chinese students to fulfil self-development
Practice: to provide a stage for Chinese students to show their talents and organise activities.

2) Indonesian Student Association (MAPIA)

Date of formation: 23 March 2008
Mission: To be a formal representative of Indonesian Community in PSB Academy and to promote unity and channel the aspiration of Indonesian students In PSB Academy

3) Myanmar Student Association (MSA)

Date of formation: 9 September 2008
Mission: To promote the awareness of Myanmar community and to help fellow Myanmar students studying in PSB Academy, and make their study in PSB Academy a better experience. Our aims are to foster mutual respect and understanding among Myanmar students and provide academic and social assistance to Burmese students in PSB Academy.

4) South Asian Student Association (SASA)

Date of formation: 5 January 2009
Mission: To organize events and other fun activities as well as to make campus life for international students from the South Asian region more interesting. Members comprise students from India, Pakistan, Bangla Desh and Sri Lanka. It’s activities are open to all individuals from the South Asian region.

5) Vietnamese Student Association (VSA) 

 Date of formation: 7 March 2009 

 

6) Korean Student Association (KSA)

 Date of Formation: 24 February 2010                                                                                                                 Mission: Friendship and support in a 'family' atmosphere.

7) Malaysian Student Association (Siswa Malaysia PSB or SAMA PSB)

 Date of Formation: 3 June 2010                                                                                                                    Mission: "Bringing Malaysian students as one family"
