It is never too early for students to plan their career or prepare themselves before they step into the working world. We provide career coaching for our students, allowing them to make informed career choices and transit smoothly into the corporate world. As part of their career preparation, we encourage our students to come forward either as an individual or as groups to take part in the programme. Career coaching sessions cover topics such as:

• Self assessment and career/personality profiling
• Individual career planning and coaching
• Cover letter/resume critique and coaching
• Interview skills and etiquette coaching
• Small group career guidance and coaching*

*Note: This session includes the use of a profiling tool that assesses student’s career interests, personality, and suitable work environment types. A minimal fee is payable for the use of the tool. (read more)

The record of students’ involvement in campus activities is an important source of information which may be included in the resume. It is advisable that students make it a habit to record such involvement in a structured way, from year one onwards. By doing so, this information can become readily available for compilation when preparing a resume to seek employment. The ‘Student ECA Record’ is a template designed for students to start their compilation.
