At PSB Academy, we care for our students by lending them a hand through job placements as they take their first steps into the working world. This also includes imparting essential life skills through personal grooming and development workshops. Through this process, we ensure that they are well prepared to perform their best during interviews and have vital soft skills required for their jobs. In other words, we don't just prepare you for exams or degrees - we prepare you for life. We are pleased to announce that PSB Academy has created a depository of 'online resume compilation' which is accessible by organisations that wish to consider offering job placement or internship to our students. Organisations can go in by keying in the password and ID (read more) For more information please contact:

*Note: This session includes the use of a profiling tool that assesses your career interests, personality, and suitable work environment types. A minimal fee is payable for the use of the tool. The record of students’ involvement in campus activities is an important source of information which may be included in the resume. It is advisable that students keep a habit of jotting down such involvement in a structured way, from year one onwards. By doing so, these information become readily available for compilation as and when the time comes for preparing a resume to seek employment. The ‘Student ECA Record’ is a template designed for students to start their compilation. Click here to download For more information please contact: PSB Academy has joined the JobsCentral network of career portals. This is a free online registration portal for both employers and PSB graduating students and alumni to post their job advertisements and resume, respectively, and to keep themselves updated on the latest career trends, market and industry analyses and information on work-life management. With this, we help facilitate a community of students and employers to actively reach out to each other. You may register by logging on to http://psb.jobscentral.com.sg To better reach out to prospective employers, we also encourage students to submit their resumes to us so that we can compile and submit to organisations who are seeking graduates. Before a student makes a move from life as a student to being part of the workforce it is wise to prepare for the transition. The PSB Placement Programme is open to full-time students who are currently enrolled in degree programmes with PSB Academy, and in their final year of study. They can opt for assistance in placement for either internship or placement opportunities through Career Services @ Student Affairs. The PSB Placement Programme is optional, and is not a compulsory requirement for fulfilment of the degree programme. Only students who meet the selection criteria will be eligible for the PSB Placement Programme. (Note: This optional Programme does not apply to full-time students enrolled in the University of Newcastle Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) programme. Industrial Placement is compulsory for BEng students based on a different internship arrangement, as specified for the programme) (a) Internship Placement We believe that students, particularly those who have little or no work experience, will be better prepared to face real world challenges if they can gain useful work exposure before embarking on their career. Internships provide valuable opportunities for students to gain experience in a field of study, and to determine if they have interest in a particular career path. The duration of internship is between three to six months, depending on the needs of the organisations. (b) Job Placement Going straight into job placement usually requires much preparation on the part of students. Student Affairs Officer will guide the students on the preparation and liaise with organisations in terms of student resume and arrangement of interview. Further information Students who are interested to apply for either the internship or job placement programme can read the terms and conditions and to download the application form (read more) Organisations that wish to offer internship, post job vacancies or like to view our student resume are most welcome to contact us for more details (read more). Personal Development Workshops
The series of personal development workshops is meant to encourage growth outside the traditional academic arena. The objective of these workshops is to equip students with the necessary skills to help them become more evolved and effective in their personal, professional and academic lives. Organised on a regular basis, these workshops also impart students with the essential career planning and career readiness skills that will continue to be useful when they move on to the world of work. You can check for any upcoming workshop under 'Student News and Events' (read more)
This scheme provides valuable opportunities for students to gain practical learning experience in the campus. This is a good exposure for students who have no work experience but eager to pick up some useful skills in their spare time.
We also receive inbound student exchange from our PSB Colleges in other parts of Asia (eg. China, Vietnam). This is where our students in the Singapore campus get the chance to interact and bond with their foreign student counterparts.
