The Bachelor of Engineering programmes offered by The University of Newcastle, Australia, in conjunction with PSB Academy are fully accredited by Engineers Australia (EA). These professional engineering degrees accredited by EA are also recognised under the Washington Accord. The Washington Accord recognises the equivalency of education programmes accredited by its signatories, and recommends that graduates of such programmes be recognised by other member countries as having met the requirements for entry to the practice of engineering. Some members of the Washington Accord include Australia, Canada, U.S.A., Japan and Singapore.

An important element towards assuring the quality of the engineering programmes we offer is our Industry Advisory Board. The Board provides an important link between the University and the employers of our graduates. It provides important feedback about graduate attributes needed, and guides curriculum development. An Industry Advisory Board has been formed in Singapore with PSB Academy to complement its namesake in The University of Newcastle, Australia.
