Initiative and Enterprise (Operations Level)In this current age of knowledge-based economy, it is not sufficient to just be employed and doing routine work everyday. This course aims to develop skills in workers that would develop their innovative and enterprising behaviour. Participants will learn how to initiate action to improve workplace performance and help them function effectively as an independent thinking adult in the workplace.

Learning Methodology
This module is participative, activity-oriented and is learner-centred. Knowledge and skills are transferred through Experiential Learning via Structured Experiences, individual and group activities, role-plays, case studies, lectures, practice and coaching and self-assessment/tests.

This programme is targeted at front-line workers, staff in supervising roles or individuals in professional/talent positions without supervisory responsibilities and the self-employed who have to:
• Work with others on a daily basis
• Work in a project team
• Take responsibility for specific workplace resources
• Join a task force at short notice to handle specific tasks within the enterprise
