Conducting Effective Training Needs Analysis (TNA)
Enhancing organisational capabilities through training and development are common strategic tools used by high-performing organisations to stay ahead of the competition. Determining the appropriate learning programmes is crucial in order for training to be effective.

Training Needs Analysis (TNA) is a systematic process for identifying an organisation’s critical overall learning needs. Many organisations have used this approach to chart their staff’s training and development plans and direct their training towards meaningful performance goals. An essential part of an organisation’s Total Company Training Plan (TCTP), it is often used as evidence of an organisation’s commitment to implementing the People Developer Standard.
