Your First Days

Meet & Greet Service

In assisting International students with a smooth transition from their home countries to Singapore, the ‘Meet & Greet’ service ensures that the students are well taken care of as soon as they decide to study with PSB Academy.

ICA Clearance

Before arrival, you will need to complete the Disembarkation/Embarkation Card provided on board the flight. Please take special care not to omit any details. You will then need to present this completed card with your passport, together with your admission letter to PSB Academy and the original copy of your Student’s Pass approval letter (applicable to those who require a visa to enter Singapore) to the Immigration Officer at the airport in Singapore. Please retain the portion of the Disembarkation/Embarkation Card returned to you as this will be required for the application of your Student’s Pass.

Student Pass Formalities

Please follow the steps below to complete your Student’s Pass formalities at ICA (Immigration & Checkpoints Authority) Building.

*Arrangements will be made by the school for new applicants. Please look out for the school notifications.

Students will be required to make an appointment prior to visiting the ICA Building to complete formalities for the Student’s Pass. Log on to to book for an appointment.

Please be advised that applicants who fail to make an appointment will not be accorded appointment to complete Student’s Pass formalities when they arrive at ICA.

Operating hours are between 08.00am to 3.00pm on any weekdays or 8.00am to 11.00 am on Saturday (except public holiday).

Proceed to ICA Building (Beside Lavender MRT) 4th Storey, 10 Kallang Road, Singapore 208718. You are required to bring the documents below:

  • Original copy of the medical report, X-ray and HIV report
  • A copy of In-Principle Approval Letter
  • Original passport
  • Disembarkation/Embarkation Card (White Card)
  • Print out of e-form16 and e-form V36
  • Terms & conditions of Issue Form
  • One passport-sized photograph
  • ICA Issuance fee and multi-journey entry fees of $90, payable by MasterCard/ Visa/ NETS/ Cash card Only

Proceed to the Self-Service Ticketing Kiosk on the 4th floor of ICA Building to obtain a "Complete Formalities" queue ticket.

You will need to scan the barcode on the In-principle Approval letter (IPA) in the Self-service Ticketing Kiosk before a Queue ticket is issued to you.

Wait for your queue number to be called.

Step 4:

Once a queue ticket is issued, proceed to Counters 24 to 27.

Upon submission of the Student’s Pass document to the immigration officer, the officer will check your documents and the registration of biometric data (ie. fingerprint capturing).

The student pass can be collected on the day if the submitted documents are completed.

Terms & Conditions (T&C) on the Issue of STP Card
Each applicant is required to complete and sign a T&C for the collection of STP. The T&C set out the terms and conditions for the issue of the STP. Applicants who fail to comply with the conditions stipulated in the T&C is guilty of an offence under the Immigration Regulations. This form will be issued to you at the counter.


On arrival, you will participate in a comprehensive orientation programme that includes detailed information and advice on practical matters such as accommodation, banking, transport, immigration and visa issues. You will also be introduced to your classmates, services at PSB Academy and a familiarisation tour of the campus and city.


Aimed at building positive mindsets, the series of Connect+ programmes by Student Affairs bring the students through a time of social connection, cross-cultural appreciation and integration. These programmes are organised separately for new Diploma and Degree students. They provide an avenue for students to interact with each other and build positive memories at PSB Academy through games, art and cultural exchange.

  1. Connect+P (Connecting People) and Connect+C (Connecting Culture)
    The Connect+P and Connect+C are a fun way for new Diploma students to make new friends and learn about cultural diversity on campus.

  2. Connect+C (Connecting Globally)
    The 3-hour programme allows degree students to learn the concept of networking for career development in a globally connected world.
