Dr Lucas Luk Tien Wee is a Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist (O&G) and Director at Landmark Medical Centre Sdn Bhd, Johor Bahru. Dr Lucas is active in the local research scene and is the Chairman of the Independent Ethics Committee at Landmark Medical Centre. He is also the Primary Investigator of registered Investigator Initiated and Industry Sponsored Phase 1 Clinical Trials, involving Stem Cell Therapy, as well as, next-generation gamma delta Chimeric Antigen Receptor (CAR)-T Therapy for solid cancers.


Dr Lucas is also the Secretary of the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists (RCOG) International Representative Committee (IRC) – Malaysia. The IRC acts as a liaison between the RCOG (United Kingdom) and the Malaysian community of members, fellows and trainees of the RCOG, to promote women health initiatives and to develop local post-graduate training programmes.


Medical education is an area Dr Lucas is passionate about and he is on board the central planning committee for the Malaysian National MRCOG Parallel Pathway Programme – the national post-graduate training programme for Malaysian O&G Trainees/Registrars preparing for the RCOG Membership Examinations.
Dr Lucas’ other areas of interest include family planning and Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS) for gynaecological procedures.
