This year not only marks the 13th anniversary of PSB Academy getting together to thank and recognise our student leaders, alumni, lecturers, and staff for their outstanding contributions though our annual awards.
It is also an additionally special and significant one.
Even during these challenging times, I am struck by how united we are as a community through our common core values of Forward Thinking, Passion, Excellence and Nurturing.
There is no doubt that the worldwide crisis has brought about numerous changes in the ways we think and work. In light of adversity, it is always easy to fall back on our standards and justify it on the effects of a pandemic. Yet, I see continued resilience and agility to embrace and overcome evolving challenges to uphold the gold standard that our institution is widely regarded for.
To our award recipients, you are all setting an extraordinary example of dedication and professionalism. The awards are a testament of how much you are valued by students and colleagues alike.
To our student leaders: the most effective leaders never stop learning! I encourage you to keep up your enthusiasm for developing a growth mindset, to continue innovating, and to continue serving with all your heart as the exceptional servant leaders you have proven to be, without whom our campus life wouldn’t be as vibrant as it is today.
On that note, it gives me great privilege to offer each and every one of you my heartfelt gratitude and congratulations on a well-deserved success!
