  • Why PSB Academy?

  • Are the degree courses at PSB Academy recognised?
    According to the Ministry of Education, there is no central authority in Singapore that provides recognition for degrees from overseas universities. However, you are encouraged to check if the institution is bona fide. One way to do so is to see if the institution is recognised by its respective authorities.For example, our university partners Coventry University and Edinburgh Napier University are recognised bodies by the British Government, while La Trobe University and The University of Newcastle, Australia are listed on the official Australian Government website with valid CRICOS Provider Code.
  • What are PSB Academy’s academic/school accreditations?
    PSB Academy works with university partners from Australia, New Zealand, the UK, and USA to offer our undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes. At PSB Academy, you can choose from university partners with:
    • Positions on university rankings like The Times Higher Education (THE) and QS Rankings, which are put together after considering key metrics such as Academic Reputation and Employer Reputation.
    • Business schools accredited by Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), EFMD Quality Improvement System (EQUIS) and/or Association of MBAs (AMBA).1https://www.aacsb.edu/educators/accreditation
  • How much are PSB Academy’s course fees?
    As PSB Academy offers courses ranging from certificates and short courses to doctorate degrees, our course fees can range from as low as S$642 for a single short course to S$69,956.60 for a Doctor of Business Administration.However, scholarships or course funding support for selected courses are available.
  • What does PSB Academy stand for?
    Established in 1964, PSB Academy started under Singapore’s Economic Development Board and later Productivity and Standards Board (PSB) to upgrade the knowledge and skills of Singapore’s workforce.
  • Is PSB Academy a government school?
    No, PSB Academy is a private education institution in Singapore.
  • What are the courses available at PSB Academy?
    PSB Academy offers a range of courses from the Preparatory Course for Cambridge International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) Examination (Intensive), Certificates, Diplomas, Bachelor’s Degrees, Master’s Degrees, Doctorate Degrees to even short courses.
  • Does PSB Academy accept foreign students?
    Yes, PSB Academy accepts foreign students. Today, we serve students from over 50 nationalities – many of whom can now choose to study a diploma in their hometown and progress to an undergraduate degree in Singapore. Some countries and territories include Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, China, South Korea, India, Sri Lanka and even as far as Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.
