Changes are the only constant in life. Only by re-skilling ourselves with new skills relevant to the new economy, then we can reduce the possibility of us being made redundant due to obsolete skill sets.

Cybersecurity is an area that interests me greatly. I manage to apply some of the knowledge gained in the course to enhance my protection against possible cyber attacks by the ‘unethical’ hackers.  My passion for lifelong learning is also another factor that motivated me to take up this course.

I chose to study with PSB Academy because the diploma provided hands-on sessions on ethical hacking in a controlled environment. This is one factor that differentiates this cyber security course from other cyber security courses that I researched on. The up-to-date curriculum provides the necessary hands-on sessions to understand the various techniques used by hackers to stress test the reliability and resilience of a network. The knowledge also allowed me to set up my home networking in a more secure manner. I had also used my new found knowledge to help my friends and family enhanced their network security. On the professional front, the knowledge allows me to better appreciate some of my company’s security policies and assist my technology colleagues in explaining some of the common cyber security risks to my other non-technology colleagues.
