Briefly share the highlights of your current career portfolio.
I joined Vishal Group of Companies in 2010 as the Marketing Director after completing my Master’s in Business Administration from The University of Newcastle, Australia. It is my family-run printing business that has been operating for three decades. On top of this, we also trade printing consumables for offset and newspaper.

Being a young Director in a family run business, how do you overcome the challenges you faced at the job you are in?
Learning from my mistakes and reflecting on them always helps me to be a better person. The economy outlook in India is constantly fast changing and versatile. I am humbled by the responsibilities I have been entrusted and there is so much to learn from the predecessors before me. It is a steep learning curve and I find myself learning a lot on the job and managing the challenges with the help of the more experienced co-workers in my team.

Tell us something about yourself.
I am happily married to my beautiful wife Monali and we have a son together, Shlok, who is turning 3 years old. Apart from my family business, I am also a certified professional fashion stylist and active blogger for Mensaurus, a website I build and update regularly to help men who wants tips on fashion, grooming, health, travel and etc.

When I started working, I noticed women who are working professionals are aware of how proper grooming helped them in their career whereas it seems that the men lack such awareness in this department. Hence, I started Mensaurus (Men + Thesaurus) in hope that this blog will be one source of information for men seeking a better understanding in styling for themselves in different occasions. With the continuous effort I have put in over the couple of years, I am happy to share that the blog has grown to more than 13K ‘likes’ on Facebook and the numbers are increasing stably daily. I am thankful for all the support I have received from family, friends and those who shared the same interests.

Do you have a quote/mantra you lived by?
One quote I live by is ” Plan and work, don’t work and plan.” This has taught me to be organised and visionary. Planning everything in advance gives a person an insight of his/her work and enables them to succeed.  I am a strong believer that everything is achievable if you are extremely passionate about it and work hard towards making it successful.
