Even before Covid-19, I have always wanted to study life science. Contributing to biomedical science development to improve human life quality and protect against disease has always been my career goal. As such, I enrolled in the Bachelor of Biomedical Science offered by La Trobe University, a top 16 Australian University at PSB Academy.

The PSB Academy campus has an excellent laboratory environment with some of the industry’s most commonly-used equipment. I’ve attended practical classes where I would learn about molecular genetics, microbiology, organ systems, pharmacy, etc. The school also has a good balance of international and local students where I would be exposed to different languages and cultures. All these experiences provide an environment that was essential for my future career and build professional experience.

Besides, Singapore is close to my home country and is also a clean, safe, and stable country with kind citizens, which allows me to concentrate on my study and not be stressed about external factors.

After completing my degree in 2022, I would want to continue my master’s degree and Ph.D. so that I can be a step closer to fulfilling my dream.
