Frequently Asked Questions About Pathways After N-Levels

What's the difference between N(A) and N(T) Level pathways?
N(A) students have access to a wider range of options including Secondary 5, DPP, and PFP, which require meeting ELMAB3 aggregate thresholds. N(T) students primarily progress through ITE Nitec courses. Both N(A) and N(T) graduates can pursue the Cambridge IGCSE pathway as an alternative route to certificate and diploma programmes.

Do I need to meet ELMAB3 requirements to join PSB Academy's IGCSE programme?
No. The Cambridge IGCSE Preparatory Course at PSB Academy is open to N-Level graduates regardless of N(A)/N(T) classification or ELMAB3 score, unlike the DPP (ELMAB3 ≤ 19) or PFP (ELMAB3 ≤ 12).

How long does it take to go from N-Levels to a diploma via PSB Academy?
Typically: 5 months for the IGCSE Prep Course, followed by a certificate programme (around 6 months), then progression to a diploma — giving N-Level graduates a faster route to diploma-level study compared to some traditional pathways.
