Preparatory Course for Cambridge International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) Examination (Intensive)

The International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) course is developed and awarded by the Cambridge Assessment International Examinations (CAIE, United Kingdom). With over 30 years of credibility, it is the world’s most popular international qualification for 14 to 16-year olds, recognised by leading universities and employers globally with nearly a million learners from 10,000 schools in 160 countries each year. 

In Singapore, tertiary institutions like Singapore Management University and the 5 polytechnics recognise the Cambridge IGCSE qualification (equivalent to O-Level qualifications, grade for grade). 

PSB Academy is a registered Cambridge international school and IGCSE exam centre for students aged 15 and above. Students can take both their lessons and examinations when they enrol with us.  

Graduates may use the IGCSE qualification as an entry requirement to progress to the Certificate level, leading to a Diploma and eventually a Bachelor’s Degree. 

Alternatively, choose to enrol in our 6-month Foundation Certificates specialising in Business, Science, or Engineering & Technology. Our Foundation Certificates* allow students to gain fundamental, discipline-specific knowledge while simultaneously preparing for their IGCSE examinations. This integrated approach ensures students are well-prepared in both their chosen disciplines and the IGCSE subjects of Math and English.

*IGCSE qualification is required for Foundation Certificates’ graduates to progress further to the Certificate level.
