Bachelor of Business (in Business Analytics)

The Bachelor of Business (in Business Analytics) degree is designed for students to employ entrepreneurial, analytical, critical, and creative thinking skills and contribute to diverse and dynamic organisations.

Students majoring in Business Analytics major will develop the skills and mindset to work confidently with data, using it to enhance business decision-making. They will be able to identify business problems, manage and transform raw data, including big data, to create evidence-based solutions.

Additionally, they will learn to apply business analytics techniques to gain insights and competitive advantages, test business models, and predict outcomes. The programme also teaches them to interpret and communicate data analysis results effectively, while addressing contemporary issues in business analytics such as ethics, data sovereignty, governance, privacy, and data processing.

Entry to Year 1
Successful completion of PSB Academy:

• Certificate In Business Management, or
• Certificate in Business Studies (E-Learning), or

Equivalent qualification that demonstrates preparedness for study.

Entry to Year 2
Successful completion of PSB Academy’s:

• Diploma in Business Administration, or
• Diploma in Business Administration (Accounting and Finance), or
• Diploma in Business Administration (Digital Marketing), or
• Diploma in Business Administration (Human Resource Management), or
• Diploma in Business Studies (E-Learning), or
• Diploma in Business Studies (Digital Marketing) (E-Learning), or
• Diploma in Business Studies (Business Analytics) (E-Learning), or
• Diploma in Business Studies (Human Resource Management) (E-Learning)

Successful completion of Ngee Ann Polytechnic’s:

• Diploma in Business Studies, or
• Diploma in Accounting, or
• Diploma in Banking and Finance, or
• Diploma Tourism and Resort Management, or
• Diploma in International Trade and Business

Successful completion of Temasek Polytechnic’s:

• Diploma in Accounting, or
  Diploma in Business, or
  Diploma in Marketing

Successful completion of Singapore Polytechnic’s

• Diploma HRM with Psychology, or
• Diploma in Business Administration (2024 intake) or
• Diploma in Accountancy, or
• Diploma in Banking and Finance (2024 intake)

Successful completion of Nanyang Polytechnic’s:

• Diploma in Accounting and Finance, or
• Diploma in Banking and Finance, or
• Diploma in Business Management

Other diplomas and similar qualifications evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

Minimum Age Requirement: 16 years old

English Language Requirement

• GCE ‘O’ level English (grade 1 to 6) or equivalent.
• Students entering the course whose first language is not English, or students whose medium of instruction on their qualifying course was not English, will be required to demonstrate a proficiency in English to IELTS 6.0 with minimum 5.5 in each band or an equivalent recognised qualification.
