I chose to pursue my degree with Coventry University at PSB Academy because of its blended learning and practical, globally-oriented curriculum. PSB Academy’s convenient location also made attending classes manageable, which meant I could focus fully on learning.
What stood out most was CU’s engaging approach to teaching. Lecturers incorporated in-class practice activities that allowed us to apply concepts from multiple perspectives, deepening our understanding and honing critical thinking skills. One memorable experience was learning managerial finance with Dr. Alex Soon. Despite initial nerves over complex calculations, his clear explanations and real-life examples helped me grasp not just the formulas, but the reasoning behind them.
The knowledge and skills I gained have been directly applicable in my career. Understanding global business trends and learning to analyse information critically allows me to anticipate changes and prepare solutions before challenges arise. This analytical mindset, combined with the practical approach taught at CU, gives me confidence to manage multiple complex tasks efficiently and make informed decisions in my work. Studying at PSB Academy with Coventry University didn’t just earn me a degree—it equipped me with tools to think strategically, act proactively, and excel professionally.
