Darius Liu is the Head of Global Strategy and Business Expansion at Adaption, a San Francisco-headquartered AI frontier lab pioneering real-time Adaptive AI systems that continuously learn and evolve to match user context and intent. In this role, he drives global enterprise deployment and strategic partnerships to make adaptive AI accessible to enterprises and builders worldwide.

Darius previously served as Head of Strategy, Partnerships & Growth at AI Singapore. There, he led government and industry collaborations and was a key member of the pioneering team that developed and launched SEA-LION, the landmark Multilingual Large Language Model (LLM) tailored for Southeast Asia. Darius continues to serve as Advisor to the SEA-LION team at AI Singapore, concurrent with his full-time role at Adaption.

His deep technology expertise is backed by a robust track record in financial infrastructure and public policy. He was the Co-founder and COO of ADDX, a world-first fully regulated digital securities platform. His foundational career includes serving as Vice President of Total Portfolio Strategy at GIC (Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund), as well as pivotal leadership roles within the Singapore Ministry of Defence and Ministry of Finance.

A Public Service Commission Overseas Merit Scholar, Darius graduated Summa cum Laude with a BSc and MSc in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University, holds an MSc in Financial Engineering from the National University of Singapore, and is a CFA and CAIA charterholder.
