Mario Renaldo is a Director in the Private Equity Direct Investment team at Sun Venture, where he is responsible for sourcing and executing private equity investments across Southeast Asia. He currently serves on the board of PSB Academy Pte. Ltd. and oversees the firm’s private equity portfolio, including Wang Learning Centre Pte. Ltd. and PSGourmet Pte. Ltd.

Prior to joining Sun Venture, Mario was with Affirma Capital (formerly Standard Chartered Private Equity), where he worked on several investments across Southeast Asia, primarily in Singapore and Indonesia, including Phoon Huat, Crystal Jade, and Travira Air. Before Affirma Capital, he was part of the Mergers & Acquisitions division at KPMG Corporate Finance Singapore, advising on cross-border M&A and capital raising transactions across sectors such as consumer, retail, and healthcare.

Mario holds a Bachelor of Business Management and a Bachelor of Accountancy from Singapore Management University.
