What if your lab mates were robot dogs? Or your film set could teleport you to a beach without leaving the studio?
As PSB Academy evolves its campus network in 2027*, students can look forward to new and enhanced learning facilities designed to bring their disciplines to life.
Our Integrated STEAM Hub @ Tai Seng will bring together facilities for health and life sciences, engineering, technology and communication. Meanwhile, our Business & Management Campus @ SingPost Centre in Paya Lebar, slated to open in Q2 2027*, will be home to our business and foundation studies programmes.
But first, let’s take a closer look at Tai Seng. From operating drones and defending against simulated cyberattacks to producing broadcast content and exploring the science of nutrition, here’s a sneak peek at what’s coming to our Integrated STEAM Hub.
Health & Life Sciences Campus at 29 Tai Seng Street

Artist's Impression
From examining cells under a microscope to understanding how the human body moves, science is more than memorising theories. It's about discovering how things work and putting that knowledge into practice.
Our Health & Life Sciences Campus will bring together dedicated facilities for students pursuing allied health, life sciences, chemistry, food & nutrition and sports science.
Life Sciences Labs: Discover What Makes Life Tick
Ever wondered how scientists study DNA, examine cells or investigate the proteins that keep our bodies functioning?
Our Life Sciences Labs provide students with opportunities to explore the building blocks of life through hands-on experiments and laboratory techniques:
- Gel Imaging Systems that let you see and analyse DNA and proteins
- Fluorescent Cell Imaging Systems for examining cells in glowing detail
- Protein Purification Systems to separate proteins for deeper analysis
- PCR Systems for amplifying DNA and exploring molecular biology techniques
- Tissue Culture Facilities that allow students to work with and maintain cells under controlled laboratory conditions
Chemistry Labs: Where Science Gets a Reaction
The periodic table is the easy part. What's more interesting is what happens when substances meet.
Our Chemistry Labs provide students with opportunities to analyse chemical compounds through hands-on experiments and laboratory techniques:
- High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) instruments to separate components in liquid mixtures for analysis
- Gas Chromatography (GC) instruments to separate and analyse substances that can be vaporised
- ATR Spectroscopy Systems to analyse the chemical composition and functional groups present in different samples
From separating mixtures to analysing their components, students can put chemistry concepts into practice and discover what substances are made of.
Nutrition Lab: Where Science Meets Flavour
Can you make your favourite dish healthier without sacrificing the taste?
That’s the kind of challenge students can explore in our new Nutrition Lab, designed to resemble a kitchen. Food and nutrition students move between here, the Life Sciences Labs and the Chemistry Labs, turning what's on the page into what's on the plate.
Think experimenting with ingredients, refining recipes and discovering how nutritional knowledge can shape what ends up on the plate.
Nursing Lab: Where Care Meets Practice
How can experienced nurses continue to strengthen their clinical practice and respond confidently to complex patient-care situations?
Our new Nursing Lab will feature hospital beds and patient simulation manikins, giving nursing students a dedicated stimulated clinical environment to apply and further develop their professional knowledge and skills.
Through simulation-based learning and practical activities, students can explore different clinical scenarios, refine nursing techniques, strengthen clinical reasoning and decision-making, and connect academic learning with their existing professional practice.
Sports Science Labs: The Science Behind Every Move
What makes an athlete run faster, lift heavier or move more efficiently?
Our Sports Science Lab is getting a bigger space, giving students more room to take part in practical activities.
The enhanced labs build on our existing facilities, featuring equipment such as:
- Weightlifting equipment for strength and resistance-based training activities
- Monark cycle ergometers for exercise testing and performance assessment
- Wattbikes for measuring cycling power, cadence and performance
- Speed gates for assessing sprint speed and acceleration
- Metabolic analysis systems for examining physiological responses during exercise
- Force plates for measuring force production, balance and movement performance
- 3D motion analysis cameras for examining biomechanics and human movement in three dimensions
With more room and equipment for practical activities, students can explore the science behind exercise, movement and physical performance.
Engineering, Technology & Communication Campus at 16 Tai Seng Street

Robotic dogs, simulated cyberattacks and film sets that can transport you anywhere in the world?
At our Engineering, Technology & Communication Campus, students can explore how engineering, technology and creativity come together through hands-on learning.
From designing engineering components to producing broadcast content, here's what you can look forward to.
Robotics Lab: Meet Your New Lab Mates
Who says your lab mates have to be human?
Our Robotics Lab is already home to the Unitree G1 EDU Plus humanoid robot, the Unitree Go2 Robot dog, Jupiter Robot2 and Alpha Mini robots. Now the family's growing, with two new Unitree A2 Pro robotic dogs joining the pack.
There’s also a dedicated space for students to operate and fly drones, allowing them to apply and enhance their learning in mobile robotics and drones, as well as undertake related projects, including final-year projects.
Cyber Range: Choose Your Side

Artist's Impression
Want to think like a hacker and defend like a pro?
In our new Cyber Range, cybersecurity students will take on both offensive and defensive roles through red-team and blue-team simulations. They will also participate in simulated Security Operations Centre (SOC) activities, monitoring systems, investigating suspicious activity and responding to cybersecurity threats.
Mechanical & Electromechanical Labs: From Digital Designs to Real-World Engineering
How does a design on a screen become a physical thing you can hold?
Our existing Mechanical Lab will be expanded into two dedicated spaces: a Mechanical Lab and an Electromechanical Lab.
Building on our current mechanical engineering facilities, which feature 3D printers and a Tensile Test Machine, the enhanced labs will give students more room to explore how engineering systems and components are designed, developed and tested.
An additional Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machine will also be introduced, allowing students to translate digital designs into physical components by cutting and shaping materials with precision.
LED Volume Studio: Your Imagination is the Location
You don’t have to leave campus to film a scene on a beach.
Our new LED Volume Studio will let students shoot in front of a real-time LED wall, using the same virtual production technique found on major film and television sets.
With tools such as Unreal Engine and Brainstorm InfinitySet, students can explore how digital environments become part of a live shoot, transporting a scene to a city street or even a spaceship without leaving the studio.
The studio will also feature RED KOMODO-X cinema cameras paired with robotic camera rigs, alongside Vizrt TriCaster for multi-camera switching and live production. Students can also work with 4K production and editing workflows, giving them greater flexibility when editing and producing high-quality video content.
Green Screen Studio: Make the Impossible Look Real
How do filmmakers place actors in worlds that don’t exist?
Our new Green Screen Studio will give students a dedicated space to explore chroma key and compositing, techniques used to combine filmed footage with digital backgrounds and visual effects.
From weather broadcasts to imaginary worlds, students can explore how different elements come together to create a convincing final scene.
Radio & Podcast Studios: Your Voice, Your Show.
Got a story to tell, or a hot take that deserves an audience?
Our new media facilities will include a full broadcast radio studio and two dedicated podcast rooms, where students can get behind the mic and explore audio production and storytelling.
And it’s not just about being heard. The studios will also be video-capable and designed for video podcast production, giving students the space to turn conversations, interviews and ideas into higher-quality audio and video content.
From going live on air to recording your next podcast episode, students can explore different ways to bring their stories and ideas to an audience.
A New Chapter of Learning Awaits
Our evolving campus network is more than a change of address. It's more room to explore what you're curious about, more equipment to get your hands on, and more ways to turn an idea into something real.
Whether it's programming robots, producing your first podcast, hunting cyber threats or reinventing your favourite recipe, there's something here worth discovering.
