Since young, I have always dreamt of becoming a successful businesswoman. Other than having the work experience, I knew I needed to be equipped with industry-relevant knowledge.

Many people around me told me that UK education is good. When I did my research, I could receive a UK education without travelling to the UK, and I could pursue my studies closer to my home country while still getting a UK degree. PSB Academy was one of the private education institutions in Singapore that partners with UK universities, one of which was Coventry University, a trusted and renowned university. I believe that the UK education system can better prepare me to open my own business.

Before my degree, I had to complete my 12-month diploma. My Diploma at PSB Academy was excellent as I learned a lot of fundamental business-related modules within a shorter period. These skills and knowledge built my foundation to pursue advanced knowledge at a degree level. The business and marketing degree modules were industry-relevant and aligned with my goal of setting up my own business. It has helped me understand how business functions and armed me with modern marketing strategies and techniques. I have also met many new friends who are still in contact with me to date.

Today I’m reaping the benefits of my education with PSB Academy. As a business owner of a beauty company, I have applied the valuable lessons from my degree to my business. I have learned to segment my markets to target my business to my customers with the right messaging. I am thankful for this opportunity and would attribute my success to PSB Academy and Coventry University.
