As a non-English speaker, I came to Singapore to improve my English proficiency at a British council. One thing led to another, and I realised that I would achieve more if I had taken an academic course in English rather than just an English course. After visiting several educational institutions in Singapore and comparing their curriculums that would suit my interest and career prospects, I decided to pursue my education with PSB Academy.

My career aspiration has always been in business development in new territories for global companies. Coventry University’s MBA in Global Business course offered modules that focus on business systems, standards, and practices worldwide and draws upon international case studies. The practical lessons approach consisting of group discussions, presentations, and essay writings rather than exam-oriented education have developed my leadership and management skills essential to becoming an all-rounded leader.

I have built extensive knowledge in new fields such as finance and. Looking back, it was one of the most accomplishing and rewarding parts of the course. My communication skills have also vastly improved through discussions and presentations with friends from diverse cultural background. These interactions have broadened my experiences, and I would be able to implement these in my upcoming career.

The lecturers were helpful and knowledgeable in their area of discipline. They would often share their experiences with the class, which allows us to understand the concept better. I want to thank Dr John, who advised me when I had a hard time coping with a particular module. This made me improve my problem-solving skills and enabled me to graduate from my course successfully.
