Alumni Class of 2025
School of Engineering and Technology

Before joining PSB Academy for my MSc in Engineering Management, I had over 20 years of experience in engineering, including more than a decade in the built environment industry. I was curious to develop my knowledge in engineering management and wanted a course that combined both business and engineering aspects—something an MBA couldn’t offer.

I first discovered PSB Academy through my husband, and we both attended an open house—he for an MBA in Global Business, and I for the MSc in Engineering Management. From the start, I was impressed by the curriculum. It covered essential engineering management topics while incorporating current trends like digitalisation, sustainability, and global engineering practices. The diversity of the cohort helped me appreciate perspectives from other disciplines, and the creative, immersive way the modules were taught made learning both challenging and enjoyable.

My journey has been shaped by inspiring lecturers. Dr Joyce Lim gave invaluable advice on managing coursework, Ms Morgan brought energy to entrepreneurial practice, and Dr Krishna encouraged healthy debate while emphasising continuous learning. Dr Victor Ong, Mr Alex Soon, Dr Jian Sheng, and Dr John all guided me with expertise and mentorship, making complex topics accessible and meaningful.

Studying at PSB Academy has not only strengthened my technical knowledge and managerial skills but also equipped me with insights I can immediately apply in my role as a BIM Manager, giving me confidence and a fresh perspective in my career.
