I was inspired to pursue my MBA with the University of Hertfordshire because I wanted to grow as a leader and create a greater impact beyond the day-to-day administrative work as part of the Undergraduate Nursing Administration Team. I wanted to go beyond routine tasks and become someone who could inspire change and lead with purpose.
This journey has reminded me that true growth begins when you step outside your comfort zone. It hasn’t always been easy — but every challenge has been a stepping stone towards becoming a more confident and capable version of myself. The programme has strengthened my mindset, sharpened my leadership skills, and given me the vision to make a meaningful difference in the workplace and beyond.
Having completed my business degree with Edinburgh Napier University at PSB Academy, I knew this was where I wanted to continue my learning journey. The quality programmes, dedicated lecturers, and strong student support made PSB Academy the natural choice for my master’s as well — a place that truly empowers students to achieve more.
My MBA journey has been nothing short of transformative. I’ve learnt to see numbers not just as figures, but as stories — insights that can drive smarter decisions and shape impactful change. My favourite module, Executive Career and Professional Development, helped me discover my leadership voice, refine my vision, and step forward with courage. Every module has broadened my perspective and inspired me to lead with empathy and strategy.
In my current role supporting both students and faculty, I’ve applied the lessons from my MBA to enhance processes, strengthen teamwork, and approach challenges with renewed purpose. This journey has reminded me that education is not just about learning — it’s about transformation, self-discovery, and growth that continues long after graduation.
To anyone considering this path: take things one step at a time and never be discouraged by challenges. Growth takes patience, courage, and a willingness to keep learning. Believe in yourself, ask for help when you need it, and trust that your efforts will lead you somewhere extraordinary.
