Before joining PSB Academy, I completed my Nitec in Business Services in 2021 and was eager to take the next step in my education. I had a clear goal of advancing in the business field, especially in areas related to customer service and leadership roles. After researching various options, I came across PSB Academy online. I was impressed by the positive reviews and strong reputation, especially in business studies which aligned with my aspirations. I was drawn to PSB Academy’s industry-relevant modules and its well-paced courses that allowed me to progress quickly. It felt like the perfect place to deepen my skills and reach my career goals.

My journey at PSB Academy began with the Certificate in Business Management, followed by the Diploma in Business Administration. Now, I’m enrolled in Bachelor of Business (Leadership and Management & Marketing) awarded by The University of Newcastle, Australia with PSB Academy, and I’m excited to be on track for graduation and kickstart my career.

Each stage of my journey here has equipped me with practical business knowledge and invaluable soft skills. For example, my communication skills improved significantly. I learned to interact effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and age groups, which has been invaluable. I also gained conflict management, teamwork, and leadership experience through group projects and class activities. These interactions helped me learn to express my ideas confidently, lead a team, and work effectively with others. The entire business curriculum provided me with a broad understanding of the industry, and the soft skills I developed gave me the confidence to navigate complex business environments. I appreciate how PSB Academy’s courses were designed to be manageable, with a balanced pace that allowed me to fully grasp each subject.

A big part of my growth came from the incredible mentorship of my lecturers. Special mentions to Mr. Daniel, who shared life experiences and advice that kept me motivated, especially during challenging times, and Dr. Shanu’s support and feedback which were instrumental in my development. Her dedication and encouragement helped me grow both academically and personally. Their mentorship went beyond the classroom and truly shaped my approach to learning and self-improvement.

One of the most unforgettable moments in my journey at PSB Academy was the graduation ceremony when I received my Diploma certificate. Holding that certificate in my hands was a powerful reminder of everything I’d achieved through hard work and perseverance. The moment filled me with pride and gave me a strong sense of accomplishment.

It felt like a turning point, marking my growth and bringing me a step closer to taking on future challenges in the professional world. 

I left the ceremony feeling empowered and I look forward to my Bachelor’s graduation, marking the next big step in my journey.

If I could offer advice to students who are about to graduate from secondary school and are thinking about their career paths, I’d definitely recommend considering PSB Academy.
