Student Stories

Stepping into the tech industry as a Technical Support Engineer at Whale Cloud means diving straight into telecommunications operations, troubleshooting CvBS, and solving complex customer incidents. To truly thrive and accelerate my career, I needed an educational path that could match the practical demands of the tech world.

Choosing to pursue my Bachelor's degree with Coventry University at PSB Academy was a strategic step for me. Coming from Myanmar, I appreciated how accessible Singapore was, allowing me to stay connected with my family. More importantly, the well-structured curriculum allowed me to gain essential knowledge and a recognized UK degree within a shorter period.

The education I received gave me a solid foundation in Computing Science and equipped me with the problem-solving and collaboration skills I now apply every day in my professional role. Beyond the curriculum, I am deeply grateful for the guidance of my lecturers—particularly Dr. Metthew for his constant encouragement throughout my journey, and my final project supervisor, Sir Adaikkalavan, whose mentorship greatly refined my technical skills.

While navigating the job market as an international graduate from a private institution in Singapore presented unique challenges, the knowledge, resilience, and technical grounding I gained through my studies have empowered me to build a strong foundation for my career in the IT industry.
