In the Bachelor of Food and Nutrition degree, students will gain hands-on experience while exploring a range of topics such as environmental sustainability of food system, sustainable diets, food product development, culture and food, and nutrition and disease.
This food and nutrition degree provides students with the knowledge and skills to apply and integrate biochemistry, physiological, and food chemistry principles and use specialist knowledge and practical skills to examine the role of diet in health maintenance, illness prevention and promotion of health policies and initiatives. Students will also learn to integrate knowledge and apply cultural safe, food-first strategies to support the health and wellbeing of individuals and communities throughout every stage of life.
