  National Engineers Day 2026

  On 14 August, we had the pleasure of welcoming representatives from government agencies, industry leaders, educators and students to our campus for the National Engineers Day 2026. During the event, we also renewed our Memorandum of Understanding with The Institution of Engineers, Singapore (IES), reaffirming our commitment to supporting engineering education.

  Break The Ice (BTI): Building Connections from Day One, 3 August 2026

  On 3 August, our Certificate in English Proficiency (CEP) students from the 28 July intake took part in BTI, an engaging integration activity designed to help students get to know one another and feel more connected to the PSB Academy community. Through a series of fun and interactive games, students had the opportunity to step out of their comfort zones, interact with new classmates, build friendships in a relaxed and welcoming environment. The session was filled with laughter, teamwork and positive energy, creating a great start to their student journey and helping them feel more at home as part of the PSB Academy family.

  GNet (Run 4): Borden Your View and Explore More Opportunities, 15 August 2026

  The International Office recently organised the GNet Integration Programme for our degree and master’s students, providing an opportunity for students from different countries and cultural backgrounds to connect, exchange ideas and broaden their perspectives. Through interactive activities and meaningful conversations, students were encouraged to step beyond their familiar circles, learn from one another and explore new opportunities to build connections within the PSB Academy community. The programme reflects our commitment to creating an inclusive and engaging environment where students can broaden their views, embrace cultural diversity and make the most of their student experience in Singapore.

  Well-being Session: Supporting a Positive Student Journey, 7 August 2026

  On 7 August, CEP students from the 28 July intake attended a Well-being Session designed to support their transition to student life at PSB Academy. Conducted in both English and Mandarin, the session encouraged students to explore strategies for maintaining a healthy balance between studies, daily life and personal well-being. Through interactive activities and discussions, students connected with their peers, shared experiences, and gained confidence as they began their learning journey at PSB Academy.

  Kpop Dance Playground, 4 August 2026

  The final K-Pop Dance Playground, organised by the LDC Dance Wing, took place on 4 August, marking the end of an exciting series of eight dance classes. Throughout the event, students learned different K-Pop choreographies and chorus segments from a variety of popular songs. We hope the sessions provide students with an enjoyable opportunity to stay active, explore their interest in K-Pop, build their confidence, and connect with fellow students through dance.

  Life Skills Workshop: AI in My Life, 18 August 2026

  In collaboration with the Dean’s Office and led by Dr. Julia, we conducted the Life Skills Workshop – AI in My Life. The session introduced students to how AI is shaping the way we live, learn, and work. Through engaging discussions, hands-on activities, and real-world examples, students had the opportunity to explore the basics of AI and discover how it can be applied in their everyday lives. No coding experience was required!

  Into the Unknown, 19 August 2026

  Organised by the Global Student Club, Into the Unknown took students on an exciting journey through history and cultures from around the world. Participants worked together to solve clues, complete missions, and uncover stories from different cultures while putting their teamwork and problem-solving skills to the test. The event provided an engaging evening filled with mystery, challenges, cultural discovery, and fun, while encouraging students to connect and collaborate with one another.
