Alumni Class of 2026
School of Business and Management

Working in Singapore’s fast-paced food industry has taught me the importance of strategic planning and foresight in navigating workplace challenges. While my background in sensory science and product development laid the foundation for my role, it was the Master of Analytics programme that truly broadened my perspective. It helped me move beyond technical knowledge to connect data with strategic insights, market trends, and business impact.

Through a combination of statistics, coding, and business modules, I began to see the wider value of sensory consumer science—not just as a testing tool, but as a driver of innovation and brand differentiation. Gaining hands-on experience with tools like R, SAS, and Python made statistics more accessible and actionable for me. This programme has shaped me into a more strategic and forward-thinking scientist.

I’ve grown both personally and professionally, developing the analytical skills needed to create real impact through data-driven recommendations. By applying data science, visual storytelling, multivariate statistics, and design thinking, I now aim to position sensory consumer science as a cross-functional and essential part of product and brand strategy.

I feel more motivated than ever to deepen my knowledge, explore new strategic approaches, and uncover hidden patterns. My goal is to contribute to a future built on evidence, clarity, and impact—where human perception can be transformed into strategic insight in a data-informed world of innovation.
