PSB Academy Scholarships are awarded to students with outstanding academic achievements and provide high caliber local and international students with the opportunity to develop their full potential. The scholarships are awarded to qualified students on the basis of academic merit, leadership potential, special talents or other personal characteristics in students.

PSB Academy-University of Nottingham (PSBA-NU) Postgraduate Scholarship


This scholarship programme applies only to students applying for the following University of Nottingham programmes:

  • Master of Business Administration
  • Master of Business Administration in Finance

Scholarship Quantum:

The disbursement of the scholarship will be made throughout the 6 course fee instalments that students pay during the duration of the programme, in the form of 25% course fee deductions.

Selection Criteria:

The PSB Academy scholarships (to be borne by PSB Academy) will be awarded to the following candidates (total max of 10 awardees):

  • 1st class honours bachelor’s degree holders of any university accepted by University of Nottingham; or
  • PSB Academy alumni with 2nd upper class honours bachelor’s degree or equivalent; or
  • Professionals with senior management and leadership positions; or
  • PSB Academy associates/staff

Terms & Conditions:

  • Scholarship rebates will be applied to the modules enrolled in each trimester of the MBA programme
  • Scholarship recipients shall enrol into the programme in any intake in between July 2020 and June 2021
  • Scholarship recipients are required to complete 6 core modules within the first 12 months of the programme
  • Scholarship recipients are also required to complete all 12 taught modules within the first 24 months of the programme
  • PSB Academy/ University of Nottingham reserves the right to amend the terms or withdraw the rebate at any time if, in the opinion of PSB Academy/ University of Nottingham, students’ progress or behaviour has been unsatisfactory

 Scholarship Application Process:

  • Scholarship application is to be submitted together with the programme application documents
  • PSB Academy and University of Nottingham will assess the eligibility of applications for their respective scholarship programmes
  • Upon successful application for the scholarship award, the PSB Academy shall issue a letter of scholarship offer to the successful applicant
  • The scholarship award recipient shall agree to the terms of the scholarship upon acceptance of the award by signing an acceptance form

PSB Academy Sports Excellence Education Scholarship


Selection Criteria for PSB Academy Sports Excellence Education Scholarship (SEES)

  • Eligible only for Singaporeans applying for all PSB Academy, and its university partners programmes
  • Scholarship application will be strictly by invitation
  • Open to applicants who have represented or are currently representing their sport at national level 
  • Applicant’s academic records and sport representation records
  • Demonstrate a strong record and achievements in respective sport

 

Terms & Conditions:

  • Demonstrate exemplary student attributes throughout the course of study at PSB Academy e.g. strive for best results, attend and participate in classes
  • Complete the programme within the standard timeframe
  • Fulfil a minimum attendance requirement of 75% per module
  • Maintain excellent student conduct throughout the programme
  • Involve and be featured in PSB Academy’s publication and/or promotion of the Academy or University and in any advertising campaigns
  • Attend all and/or to speak at previews, open houses, events to provide testimonials, if necessary
  • PSB Academy may make reasonable changes to this scholarship at any time and will advise scholars if this occurs

  • ASEAN nationalities
  • Academic Records of Polytechnic Diploma (GPA 3.0) or GCE ‘A’ Level (Average Grade B) or equivalent
  • Participation in Co-Curricular Activities (CCA) or equivalent
  • Exhibit leadership qualities
  • Submit Scholarship essay (500 words or more)
  • Demonstrated a strong track record in social/community work that has generated significant impact for others

CSR Committee Chairperson may consider accepting the activity to offset against the number of CSR activities organised by PSB Academy .

  • The award recipient shall not be entitled for any other promotions offered by PSB Academy, assistance or incentives including but not limited to any progress rebate, funding, referral fees and/or other sign up incentives. 
  • The selection panel may terminate the scholarship if:
    • The award recipient is found to have provided false or misleading declaration of any information during the application process;
    • The award recipient is found guilty of a disciplinary offence as defined under the student handbook;

  • Submit Scholarship Statement (250 words or more)
  • Mature candidates (≥30 years old with 8 years’ work experience)
  • Candidates with other qualifications will be considered as case-by-case basis

Degree Programmes

  • Eligible for Singaporeans who is a SAFRA member
  • Open to all Private and Polytechnic Diploma holders
  • Participation in Co-Curricular Activities (CCA) or equivalent
  • Exhibit leadership qualities
  • Submit Scholarship essay (500 words or more)
  • Mature candidates (≥30 years old with 8 years’ work experience)
  • Candidates with other qualifications will be considered as case-by-case basis

  • The award recipient shall not be entitled for any other promotions offered by PSB Academy, assistance or incentives including but not limited to any progress rebate, funding, referral fees and/or other sign up incentives.
  • The award recipient is expected to take on the role of Student Ambassador in representing PSB Academy at information sessions, during official guest visits or other public events throughout the duration of the course.
  • The SISEU member must continue to maintain active union membership for the entire duration of the award recipient’s course.
  • The SISEU member is expected to volunteer at SISEU’s events throughout the duration of the award recipient’s course.
  • The award recipient is to be involved in student activities and leadership development, take on any five Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities initiated by PSB Academy throughout the course of study, and be featured in the publications and/or promotions of the PSB Academy or University and in any other student recruitment promotion activities.
    • Should award recipient be actively involved with community involvement activities with other external organization throughout the course of study, award recipient is to provide a letter of certification as proof.
