Introduction

This diploma equips you with a strong foundation in electrical engineering, enhanced with specialised knowledge in robotics and automation. You'll gain practical skills in designing, developing, and operating intelligent electrical and robotic systems that integrate electrical and robotic technologies.

More than just an engineering diploma, this course blends electrical circuits, automation, and robotic to meet the evolving needs of modern industries. It prepares you for careers in sectors such as manufacturing, automation, communications, consulting, and government – where innovation and smart technologies drive progress.

By the end of this electrical engineering with robotics diploma, you will:​

  • Understand key principles of electrical engineering and robotics​
  • Learn to design, build, and implement a small mobile robotic system that integrates hardware, electronics, and software
  • Build a professional network through career mentoring, industry engagement, and site visits, supported by student chaper memberships

Course Highlights

  • Purpose-built STEM Campus

    Immerse yourself in a STEM-focused environment equipped with facilities such as an engineering lab, a fluid mechanics lab, a dedicated engineering project room and multiple computer labs running MATLAB and other specialised softwares.

  • Essential Skills in Electrical Engineering and Robotics

    Gain hands-on experience in electrical circuits, digital systems, programming (C and Python), Autodesk Fusion and robotics—equipping you to design, build, and operate intelligent electronic and robotic systems.

  • Direct Entry To University

    Advance directly into Year 2 of a Bachelor’s Degree with our university partner; subject to university’s approval.

  • Industry Immersion

    Enjoy networking opportunities and access to professional events with The Institution of Engineers, Singapore and The Institution of Engineering and Technology student chapter memberships.

Students will be studying 9 modules, and are expected to complete the course within 12 months with possible completion in 9 months.

  • Mature candidates (≥30 years old with 8 years work experience)
