Our Workplace Communication for Starters workshop, held on 25 November, showed participants how to stay professional, communicate smart, and make a strong impression at work without the office drama. Through fun and interactive activities, students learned how to write clearer emails, speak with confidence, and connect with people from diverse backgrounds, gaining practical skills to shine in internships and first jobs. A solid step towards thriving in any workplace!

Student Leadership Challenge, 15 and 16 November 2025
Student Success Office successfully wrapped up the annual 2-Day-1-Night Student Leadership Challenge 2025 on 15 and 16 November. Packed with action, from rock climbing and abseiling to a range of team-building tasks, the camp pushed students out of their comfort zones and into meaningful discoveries. Participants walked away with stronger leadership skills, greater self-awareness, and a renewed sense of confidence. What a memorable journey for our aspiring leaders!

Wellbeing Session for New Certificate-Level Students, 18 November 2025
Starting school in a new environment (and for many students, in a new country) can feel exciting and overwhelming all at the same time. So, in our wellbeing session on 18 November, we explored practical ways to help students build small daily habits that support calm, clarity, and emotional balance using simple, accessible mindfulness techniques. Participants learnt how mindful breathing can quickly ease tension and bring attention back to the present moment, as well as how mindful movements can help when worry or overthinking starts to take over.
