  SPH Media Day (Industry Visit to SPH),11 September 2025

  Our students had the rare chance to go behind the scenes at Singapore Press Holdings. From touring the ST newsroom, radio booths, and Studio+65, to engaging with media professionals, they gained valuable insights into how news and broadcasts come to life. Many found it eye-opening to see the processes in action and to discover the wide range of career paths in journalism and broadcasting.

  AI Resume Writing Workshop, 16 September 2025

  On 16 September, Career Services hosted an online resume writing workshop led by Christina, Professional Recruiter from CTES Consulting, where students learned the biggest mistakes people make on their resumes and gained practical tips to craft a captivating one. The session covered the E.S.G of Resume Writing (Enhance & Strengthen Using GPT), tailoring content for job requirements, unlocking tools like ChatGPT and Copilot, and leveraging AI effectively, with successful student resume samples shared as references.

  Industry Talk by TikTok – Beyond Building a Career in a World of Change, 18 September 2025

  On 18 September, we had the privilege of hosting Emily Chin, Global Product Marketing Manager at TikTok, who shared how GenAI is shaping the future of creativity, business, and careers across Asia. Our students gained fresh perspectives on building a career in global tech and marketing, explored new ways GenAI is influencing content and creativity, and joined an interactive and engaging Q&A session.
